Party time at Sweet N Sassy!

It was a lovely night for a lovely Birthday girl's party.  This cake was a design courtesy of the Birthday girl herself.  She had some great ideas about how she wanted her cake to look! She wanted hot pink and black colors, with dots, pleats and scrollwork- the end result was fabulous.  Future party planner in the making?  Great ideas Ms. M!!  All chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and chocolate buttercream frosting.  Fondant covering and fondant accents.

It's a boy...

Congratulations to a wonderful family on baby number 4!  A big and handsome baby boy.  This cake was made for a baby shower that was to be this weekend - but in true baby style, the baby arrived on the scene two days before the planned event and the shower has been postponed.  The cake went over to the neighborhood church for everyone to enjoy anyway!!  This is a top tier chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and bottom tier vanilla cake with white chocolate ganache filling.  It is iced in buttercream with fondant accents.

SK8 TOWN Party.....

This cake was made for an 8 year old boy celebrating his birthday party at Sk8 Town - so naturally the theme of the cake was a rollerskating theme.  The client brought an invitation which also served as the theme for the colors on the cake.  The cake is a vanilla butter cake with vanilla pudding filling and vanilla buttercream.  The roller skate is made from krispy treats.  All edible :)

It's hard not to fall in love with a Valentine's Cookie....

Cookies seem to be a sweet treat that everyone loves to give and get on Valentine's Day!  Even if you don't have a sweetheart to share your day with, you can always have a sweet heart cookie all to yourself!!  Here are a few pictures of the cookies I made for some of the people that I love :)

Bieber Fever....

Happy Birthday to one of Justin Bieber's biggest fans!  The birthday party had the girls all going to the premiere of Justin Bieber's new movie "Never Say Never".  It was requested the cake be in purple with a picture of Justin Bieber and the movie accents were added to keep with the theme of the birthday party!

Gooooo Steelers!

Okay, really, I am impartial when it comes to football!  This cake was made for a boy who is turning 6 years old...he is a Steelers fan and it just so happens that his favorite team has made it to the Super Bowl - so what more could you ask for on your special day? :)  Helmet and football are made from krispy treats.

A Sweet N Sassy Birthday

I made this cake for a sweet little girl, celebrating her special day at Sweet N Sassy.  The request was for a cake purse with a puppy coming out of it.  They wanted the purse to be pink and the puppy to look like their very special puppy dog!  The cake was chocolate with chocolate ganache buttercream.  The puppy is made out of krispy treats and everything else is icing and fondant.  All edible.
